The Mid-Atlantic Turners Expo this year was an incredible experience! It was so rewarding to reconnect with familiar faces — friends we’ve met over the years through the turning community — and also to make new connections with fellow turners and makers. There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by people who share the same passion for creating and learning.
One of the best parts of the weekend was the opportunity to chat with other vendors and attendees, swapping stories, tips, and tricks. It’s amazing how every conversation can spark new ideas or offer a fresh perspective. We left the expo feeling inspired and motivated, with a notebook full of exciting ideas for Cross Cut Creations. While we can’t share all the details just yet (trust me, you’ll want to stay tuned!), we’re eager to start exploring some new directions and pushing our creativity even further.
Events like this remind us why we do what we do — the sense of community, the shared knowledge, and the mutual encouragement make all the hard work worth it.
